JD Grainger is our lead worship pastor. He oversees our worship, production, and facilities teams. JD is wise beyond his years. When you meet him you’ll find his love of interesting facts is surpassed only by his love of Jesus and his family. He has a unique background in worship expressions that allows for a beautiful blend of using current trends with traditional influences, all while discerning the truth of the gospel. JD and wife Bella are Minnesota natives with solid roots grounded in a love for worship and ministry. As newlyweds in 2018 they were called to Indiana to help church plant. God was faithful to provide them with an amazing experience as they navigated a growing family and a growing ministry. In 2023 they felt the nudge of the Holy Spirit bringing them back MN and to join the mission of Branch Church. We are blessed to have JD’s passion for Jesus leading our teams and our community. The Graingers love chasing their three awesome kiddos and look forward to snuggling TWINS due in the summer of 2026.
